HOPE provides free, in-home counseling and case management to adults age 60 and over in the St. Louis area. We can help with housing, finances, benefit education and many other areas.
Caregiver Information and Counseling
If you are a caring for an older adult who lives in St. Louis City, our free support services may be able to help. We can provide informational assistance regarding finances, home health and chore services, and other supportive services. We can also provide emotional support including coping skills, supportive listening, and personal care planning.

Expert Counselors
Our team of experienced reverse mortgage (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage or HECM) counselors provides expert counseling to people who are considering a reverse mortgage. Get the most accurate information from the most unbiased source, before you apply for a reverse mortgage.
Affordable Counseling!
For clients with low income or other hardships, we can allow clients to finance our counseling fee, paying it from loan proceeds.
HUD-Approved
HOPE is a HUD-approved housing counseling agency and can provide HECM counseling to potential borrowers anywhere in the US (subject to state limitations in certain states).
Convenient Appointments
No matter what time zone you are in, our HECM counselors can set an appointment that meets your needs. Evening and weekend appointments are available, and appointments can usually be scheduled within 2-7 days.
